First thing's first, how I use cards...
Cards, whether they're tarot or oracle cards, are not meant to be a yes/no type of tool. You could flip a coin and get that type of result. They also aren't usually going to tell you a direct, step by step plan. Now, I say usually because there are times when the cards pulled are so obvious, you can't ignore it. However, on the whole, it's not going to tell you to send an email at 2pm on Tuesday to this person, stating this particular thing, and then everything will be ok.
In my opinion, cards are meant to be reflection points. They're a way to get out of your own head. If you're anything like me, getting out of my own thoughts is tough. I need something outside of myself to break thought loops, to stop the rumination, and to help give me perspective.
In a card pull session, we'll talk about what's going on and what you're hoping to understand. Sometimes there really isn't anything going on, it just seems like a fun thing to do. I totally get that, and we will work with that. Regardless, the session will be lead by whatever you need.
We will talk about it and then start pulling cards. This is where intuition plays a big part. We can ask certain questions, we can use different decks, we can as for direction in the future or what the past needs to heal. It's an open forum but with the support of someone to talk through it in real time with.
About the cards...
I do not use tarot cards. I don't really know much about them, and definitely don't feel equipped to read them.
The card decks I use are called oracle cards. They're designed to provide messages and guidance. The specific decks I use are aligned with how I function and communicate, making them a tool that I feel connected to.
Of course, if you have any questions about any of this, don't hesitate to reach out.
