In March of 2020, exactly one week before "the world shut down", I began what I expected to be a healing journey. I started working with a mentor on things like meditation, shadow work, balancing my energy and chakras, breathwork, and learning about all kinds of things I had no idea existed. All of it seemed bat shit crazy, but I felt compelled to keep going. Admittedly, I was open, but skeptical about how this all would help me. 

As we went on a deep dive into how the body experiences the energy of others, something cracked open in me. All of the sudden I was seeing memories that weren't mine, hearing songs I didn't know, seeing pictures I've never seen before. It was a wild ride to say the least!! I immediately got connected with someone who could help and I went to work to understand what was happening. 

I grew up watching the Long Island Medium and I would think to myself, "that is the coolest job on the planet". I couldn't get over how amazing it was to give someone that was deep in grief, those kinds of messages. It was incredible! I always watched in admiration, having no idea that I would be doing the same work on day...but with smaller hair, way more cuss words, and simply, in my own style.
